Magnolia Chapel is a wedding and event venue directly in the heart of downtown Humboldt
with a history that spans well over a century of celebrations, gatherings and performances.
The Chapel’s exterior is classic, and the inside is wedding white. There is 23 original handcrafted pews (seats 207) that curve around the alter to add a touch of stateliness to the occasion while maintaining a sense of intimacy. The wooden features of the chancel provide a unique backdrop, while 21 arched windows help to illuminate the proceedings.
The Fellowship Hall – The Fellowship Hall is 24’ x 41’ with an elevated stage at the west end. There are two columns in the room. It seats 72 guests at round tables or 90 guests at Banquet Tables – 984 sq feet
The Grounds – The Chapel’s backyard is the perfect place for an outdoor reception, with beautiful fairy lights to create the perfect ambiance. Worried about weather add a classic white wedding tent and it becomes magical.

The 1895 historic chapel is truly one-of-a kind venue for the classic southern bride, with original 125 year old hand-carved pews and beautiful arched windows… bring in your favorite Band, Bartender, Caterer & Florist to add the touches that reflect the experience you desire for your guests.
Where you get ready the morning of your wedding matters – Private Bridal Suite – complete with 6 salon stations, large landing area for additional seating and food service, six foot bridal mirror and half bath.

Our wedding venue tours are conducted on Monday and Wednesday 5:30pm to 8:00pm.
These are done by scheduled appointments and take about 45 min.

Small wedding ceremony for 40 or fewer guests. Ceremony space is already decorated but can be personalized. Time for cake cutting and first dance during 2.5 hr rental. Add your own planner and vendors for additional personalization at no additional cost. It’s an intimate personal wedding without all the craziness that comes with planning a big wedding with friends and family. What does it take to book? Dates are a first come, first serve. Dates are not reserved until initial payment ($500) has been made and contract signed.
You must be paid in full 60 days prior to your date.
